My NITIE experience

The day before Interview, me,first_timer(Rito) and great_timer(Kaushik) roamed all around Mumbai and finally entered MDP block at night.Great place!!
We entered Admission block at 8:00 AM in the morning next day and my PI took place about 5:00 PM.
So you can imagine what was it like sitting there waiting for your turn,team IMPACT did their best to keep us entertained.

GD:
Topic: SEZs cure or curse
Number of Ppl present : 10
Time: 2 + 15 + 2
Brief Snapshot of Discussion: The topic was good but the discussion was horrible.Total fish market with 3/4 people not allowing anybody to speak.The lady sitting beside me kept on pushing me with her elbow.It was comic at times.I came up with few points but leaving the GD I felt very disappointed with the performance.Only good point I can think of is that I didnt contribute to the chaos and always kept a smiling face

Questions:
As I entered at about 5 PM,one impact co ordinator informed the panel that another lot of 10 are left,and the reaction on their face was

p1 walked out instantly

me:told.ended with hobby
p4 is staring blankly at me
p3:taking over,asked more about hobby...some chit chat
p2:Tell me about your final year project
me:told (it was poor rip off of ebay)
P.S : My contribution was limited to getting the project document printed
p2:what was so different/important in the project
me: some more non sense
p4 is still staring blankly at me
p3:what other hobbies?
me: told about watching movies,and playing cricket football,added some achivements to make it look important
p4 is still staring blankly at me
p2,p3 looking at each other thinking what more to ask
p2: Tell me about your work
me : told
p4 finally asks something
p4 : tell me about your final year project
p2,p3,me
p2 : actually we have already asked that
p3: thank you,you may go now

that it.It was hardly a 5 min interview.

P.S : After the interview went out again to explore Mumbai.Came back at 2:00 AM at midnight.Had an argument with the security guard at the gate.Met some NITIE seniors and some chit chat followed.One awesome experince.


verdict : Converted and eagerly waiting to join
